Atlanta Weekend Calendar
Atlanta offers several dates and themed weekends for you and your group to experience the gifts and needs of Atlanta in 2008-09. Other weekends are possible upon approval by City Director. Many ministries and agencies fill up with weekend volunteers, so plan as early as possible. Weekends are limited to 35 participants. Cost for the weekend is $95 per person.
October 3-5 (October 5 is World Communion Sunday). – Multicultural theme
November 14-16 – Environmental Justice
December 12-14 – Kids Issues
December 19-21– Homelessness
January 16-19 - Dr. King themed weekend
February 13-15 – Homeless theme

Chicago Weekend Calendar
If
your church has participated before, you have the option of choosing
any weekend that suits you, upon agreement with City Director.
Otherwise Chicago offers weekend programming once a month.

you are interested in a theme - homelessness, health, education,
politics or anything else that would help your group interact with the
city- we would love to tailor your weekend especially for you.

Miami Weekend Calendar
Miami
hosts weekend service and learning opportunities for all aged groups
year around. All two-day weekends cost $95 per person; three-day
weekends cost $150 per person. Please contact the City Director

Multi-Cultural Worship- Much of our church worship is culturally based.
The weekend is spent worshipping in 5 different Christian congregations
from Messianic Jew to Spanish speaking to Young Adult Contemporary.
A Mile in the Shoes of a Migrant- Particpants will work alongside
migrants in the fields just SW of Miami. Participants will also serve
in agencies that assist migrants and their families. Sunday morning the
team will worship in a congregation with many migrant families.
