Atlanta Packing List

Atlanta weather can be hot and humid. Be prepared to drink lots of water and to protect yourself from the sun. Jackets are not necessary during the summer time unless for protection from the rain. Dress will always be casual except when attending a local worship service. Work clothes will be subject to wear and tear and possible paint stains. Some of the agencies that DOOR works with do require that all volunteers wear long pants. Pack with this in mind. It’s a good idea to mark your clothes with your name.
